The emergence of the city parking guidance system, derivefrom market demand for increased traffic, road congestion,parking difficulties and so on along With city's rapid growth. The system'sconstruction and application has increasingly becoming an indispensable part inmodern urban construction. City parking guidance system consists of thefollowing number of subsystems:

1. Parking available space collection system: includeparking space guidance system, parking zone guidance system, parking charge fees& management system, as well as other traffic light control system.

2. Data management & services center:constituted by one or more database servers, application servers, and Webservers architected over the WAN.

3. Guidance information disseminationsystem: include traffic network information distribution system constituted bythe three-level guidance display near parking, two-level guidancedisplay at the traffic junctions, top-level guidance display in transportationroutes, as well as websites, radio stations and other dissemination system .

4. GPRS data transmission networks based onChina Mobile: Using GPRS DTU module to transmit data and integrating TCP / IPprotocol stack inside of equipment to support permanent online, the system canconnect to traffic flow collection terminal and LED information disseminationscreen with two-way transparent connection; there is no additional development cost.The using fee of GPRS is calculated as network flow.Because the network flow of vehicle guidance system transmission is very small,so operating costs are very low.
